Moving Europe's oldest railway building

Next to Mechelen railway station, a railway building more than one and a half centuries old is moved over a distance of 34 metres. Its historical importance meant it could not allowed be dismantled so it was anchored on a concrete slab and moved little by little. The tour de force was successfully completed on Thursday evening.
